The best thing the Jianguo has going for it is it's central location. It was my family's first visit to Beijing and if you haven't been it can be quite overwhelming! The Jianguo's location and (usually) helpful staff made everything feel quite manageable and homey. We were able to do much of our touring by foot and, once we got up the courage, on rental bikes with a wonderful
