We checked in on Oct 1st, and the room was commodious and bright. A manager was also nice enough to tell us about some of the city's top attractions and souvenir buying areas.
My whole family stayed there bascially, our kids and my parents. Not much in terms of dining options around the hotel. But I did notice a lot of young people in the area at night, probably due to the many bars nearby.
Our only complaint is that our room card didn't work properly and took a little long to fix.
Excellent location and really friendly staff, sometimes though they have to be more flexible. I was there for the new year and everything was great, the room was awesome with a spectacular view and they were cleaning it twice a day. Room service was efficient and the quality of food very good. I only faced 2 "problems", at first on Dec 31st we went to have breakfast at 10:05 and we were informed that the buffet closed at 10:00, We would have been ok with that if it was told to us in a polite way (and not like being in the army) and if we were also told that we could still order breakfast but not from the buffet. Second issue came up on January 1st, we asked if there was a possible free charger (for my laptop) to be rented from business center. The lady who was in charge there informed us (in a non polite way) that she could rent me a laptop but not the charger!!!! She did not even bother to come up with some suggestion, after consulting the front desk the problem was solved!!!
In general it is a very good hotel with really friendly staff, i still have a very good impression despite those two incidents. I would recommend it in the future.
